Miami Hotels

Map collectors, dealers and those who just want to see an amazing diversity of old cartography head for the Miami International Map Fair at the Historical Museum of Southern Florida.

Dealers from around the world exhibit and sell antique maps, and visitors are invited to bring in maps of their own for expert opinions. While many of the attendees are serious map collectors, the Miami International Map Fair also aims to build awareness of antique maps and encourage new collectors.

Directions In downtown Miami, at the Metro-Dade Cultural Center Plaza.
By Metrorail: exit Government Center Station, walk south across NW 1st St and go up the stairs on the north side of the Cultural Center, or use the ramp on the south side. The entrance is on the plaza.
By Car (from the south): take I-95 north-bound, take the NW 2nd St exit (Exit 4). Turn right onto NW 2nd St, and then right on NW 2nd Ave for one block. The Cultural Center is on the left.
By Car (from the north): take I-95 southbound, exit at Orange Bowl/NW 8th St (Exit 5A). Turn left onto NW 2nd St, and then turn right onto NW 2nd Ave. The Cultural Center is on the left, and its parking garage on the right.
